According to a March 3rd announcement by the Shangdu County Investment Promotion Center, the county held a signing ceremony on February 27th for a new project involving the integration and supporting facilities for a 200,000-tonne-per-year lithium battery anode material plant. The county people's government successfully signed an agreement with Inner Mongolia Xiangfu New Energy Co., Ltd. The total planned investment for this project is approximately Yuan 5.7 billion. Once fully constructed and operational, it is projected to generate an annual profit of Yuan 400 million and tax revenues exceeding Yuan 200 million, while creating over 1,200 jobs.
