Recently, new progress has been made on the New Energy Intelligent Vehicle Charging and Distribution Production Project with a total investment of Yuan 500 million, constructed by Shangshan Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xiaogan Gaochuang Investment Co., Ltd. The steel structure main body of the project's workshop has been completed, with welding of steel beams and steel columns 70% finished, as the project accelerates toward its trial production target by the end of May.
According to reports, the project is located in Xiaogan High-tech Zone. It plans to construct three multi-story factory buildings and associated supporting facilities, with a total construction area of approximately 68,600 square meters. The project primarily produces key components such as EV charging socket assemblies, high-voltage wiring harness assemblies, and intelligent vehicle data wiring harness assemblies, representing a key investment attraction project in the High-tech Zone.
As a crucial supply chain supplementation project within the EV components industry chain, upon completion, this project will fill the local gap in core component sectors such as charging socket assemblies and high-voltage wiring harness assemblies. When fully operational, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value exceeding Yuan 2 billion.
