GACC: China's chrome ore imports climb 13% in Jan-Feb

China's imports of chrome ore rose 13.2% year on year to 4.01 million tonnes in the first two months of 2026, according to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs (GACC). The increase was driven mainly by robust demand for feedstock from domestic ferrochrome (FeCr) producers, Mysteel Global learned.
