China's export volume of ternary precursors reached 12,871 tonnes in March 2026, an increase of 7,028 tonnes or 120.3% month-on-month, and an increase of 7,977 tonnes or 163.0% year-on-year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. Among this, exports of nickel-cobalt-manganese hydroxide (NCM) stood at 12,871 tonnes.
During the first three months of 2026 (January–March), China's cumulative exports of ternary precursors totaled 24,729 tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 45.5%.
