Anglo American's coking coal output hits historical low in Q1 '26

Anglo American plc, a leading global mining company headquartered in London, has reported that its coking coal output in this year's first quarter reached a historical low, due to weather events and other issues.

Though amounting to 1.55 million tonnes and being the lowest in Anglo American's history, just why the company's coking coal output for Q1 2026 was so poor was not thoroughly explained.
