MMC Norilsk Nickel (Nornickel) is a diversified mining and metallurgical company, one of the world's largest producers of palladium and high-grade nickel, as well as a major producer of platinum and copper. The company also produces cobalt, rhodium, silver, gold, iridium, ruthenium, selenium, tellurium and other products. The main production units of the Norilsk Nickel Group are located in the Kola Peninsula and the industrial region of Zabaykalsky Krai.
Recently, Nornickel released its first-quarter 2026 report, showing total nickel production of 41,746 tonnes, down 28.17% quarter-on-quarter but up 0.31% year-on-year.
In addition, Nornickel's 2026 nickel production guidance is 193,000-203,000 tonnes.
