On May 6, the production line of the lithium iron phosphate cathode material project of Hubei Ruipai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Xiangcheng Economic Development Zone of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, was operating at full capacity. This provincial key new energy industrial project, with a total investment of Yuan 2 billion, has recently begun production. It is capable of producing 50,000 tonnes of LFP cathode materials annually, generating an annual output value Yuan of 3 billion, creating over 600 jobs, and establishing a full-value-chain closed loop from retired battery recycling to cathode material regeneration.
