China's exports of ternary cathode materials amounted to 14,071 tonnes in May 2026, representing a month-on-month increase of 4,248 tonnes or 43.2%, and a year-on-year increase of 5,050 tonnes or 56.0%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. Among these, exports of NCM reached 13,987 tonnes, while exports of NCA stood at 84 tonnes.
From January to May 2026, China's cumulative exports of cathode materials totaled 69,074 tonnes, up 76.8% YoY.
