Meanwhile, total arrivals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo during April to May are expected to be less than 3,000 tonnes. Downstream end-user demand remained sluggish, while cobalt salt prices were suppressed by downstream losses and the cost competitiveness of MHP. As a result, prices are unlikely to see significant changes. The market is cautiously monitoring the arrival of cobalt intermediates and adjusting its purchasing pace accordingly.
