China Apr phosphate rock imports up 13.53% MoM

China's April phosphate rock imports rose 13.53% month-on-month to 206,600 tonnes (GACC, OilChem). Higher spring farming demand and phosphate chemical capacity utilization supported this increase. However, OilChem expects May imports to decline due to high sulfur prices cutting downstream rates and Egypt halting new export contracts.
