In May 2026, China's phosphate rock imports stood at 131,000 tonnes, down 36.4% month-on-month, with an average import price of $93/t, edging down 2.6%. Supply sources remained highly concentrated, with Egypt shipping 128,000 tonnes, accounting for 97.7% of the total, while shipments from Peru and Jordan halted, heightening near-term market volatility.
