Last week, the prices of waste lithium-ion batteries continue to experience high-level volatility, with moderate market trading activity. Currently, the circulation of ternary battery scrap is predominantly composed of retired battery scrap, and pulverizing plants are actively taking delivery for processing. The processing volume of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) scrap has declined, consisting mainly of manufacturing offcuts and production scrap, with very few retired batteries in circulation. Meanwhile, copper prices continued to fluctuate at elevated levels, providing some price support for spent batteries.
