On May 26, the Ecological Environment Sub-Bureau of Jieshou City, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, issued a public notice regarding the Environmental Impact Report Form for the Annual 18 GWh Large Cylindrical Lithium-Ion Battery Production Construction Project of Anhui Houji Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
According to the document, the project has a total investment of Yuan 3,229.0539 million, and is funded by Anhui Houji Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The environmental protection investment amounts to Yuan 20 million. The project covers an area of 138,204 square meters, with a construction period of one year. The batteries produced are small-power individual cells, featuring an energy density of 165 Wh/kg, a cycle life of no less than 2,000 cycles, and a capacity retention rate of no less than 70%.
