On the afternoon of June 1, Tianci Materials, a leading enterprise in the electrolyte industry, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiujiang Tianci High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd., officially signed a supplementary agreement on procurement cooperation with Cornex New Energy. The two parties have upgraded their long-term supply cooperation model, further expanding the scale of cooperation on electrolyte products and solidifying a synergistic development pattern across the upstream and downstream value chain.
The agreement introduces two major adjustments. First, it adds Xiangyang Cornex New Energy Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. as a procurement entity, bringing Cornex New Energy's four major production bases under a unified supply system, covering the four industrial layout regions of Wuhan, Xiaogan, Yichang, and Xiangyang. Second, it increases the minimum guaranteed supply volume of electrolyte products, substantially raising the original minimum supply of 550,000 tonnes to no less than 1.01 million tonnes. The supply categories cover the full range of battery electrolyte products, while the cooperation period remains unchanged, still running through December 31, 2030. Specific procurement batches, product specifications, and individual order quantities will be subject to formal purchase orders to be issued subsequently by both parties.
