On June 7, Capchem Technology announced that it has recently signed a new Electrolyte Supply Agreement with CATL. The agreement is valid from the date of sealing until December 31, 2028. During this period, CATL's total planned procurement of electrolyte is expected to reach 300,000 tonnes, with annual procurement volumes increasing year by year.
Specifically, the procurement volume is projected to be 50,000 tonnes in 2026, with a permissible fluctuation range of 10%. This will increase to 100,000 tonnes in 2027, with the fluctuation range widening to 12%. And further rise to 150,000 tonnes in 2028, with the fluctuation limit expanding to 15%.
Regarding implementation, the two parties have agreed to conduct monthly plan reviews and follow-ups. If the planned volume for a given month is not achieved, adjustments will be made in the following month. An annual actual volume deviation that remains within the agreed fluctuation limits will not be considered a breach of contract. If the deviation exceeds the fluctuation limits, both parties agree to make up the shortfall in the following year. The specific product names, models, unit prices, quantities, technical standards, and other details under this cooperation are to be determined by orders or other written documents confirmed in writing by both parties.
