Recently, Sinopec and BYD signed a framework cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two parties will collaborate in three major areas, including flash charging networks, ecosystem integration, and industrial chain coordination, jointly building a 10,000-station aggregated energy flash charging smart energy ecosystem.
Leveraging their respective strengths, the two parties will carry out cooperation in the following three areas.
1. Interconnection in charging network construction: Leveraging Sinopec's existing network of service stations to promote the construction and operation of flash charging stations, serving vehicle owners nationwide and globally.
2. Building an Energy Replenishment & Automotive Services ecosystem centered around 'people, vehicles, and life': Exploring cooperation in areas such as automotive aftermarket services, solar-storage-charging-inspection, while further advancing collaboration in membership systems, customer insights, and data empowerment.
3. Cooperation across upstream and downstream industrial chains, including automotive and battery materials, automotive fuels, marine refueling, energy storage, automotive supplies, centralized procurement, and data intelligence.
