Recently, the Ecological and Environmental Protection Industry Association of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region released the first public information notice for the environmental impact assessment of the Integrated Project for Cascade Utilization and Crushing & Recycling of Waste Power Batteries from Electric Vehicles in the Kashgar Economic Development Zone.
According to the public notice, the project will be located in the Kashgar Economic Development Zone. It will include a production line for the cascade utilization of 50,000 sets of waste power batteries annually, along with a supporting crushing and sorting production line with an annual processing capacity of 20,000 tonnes of waste power batteries.
