In response to an investor query on an interactive platform, GEM stated that its main nickel ore suppliers in Indonesia are the SCM mine, owned by Indonesian-listed Merdeka, and the Hengjaya mine, controlled by an Australian company. Together, they account for over 90% of the company's total supply. GEM has signed long-term supply agreements with both mines, which it said are sufficient to fully secure production needs at its Indonesian nickel resource project.
