Russia's coal output rises 6.5% YoY in May

Russia's production of all types of coal for all uses reached 37 million tonnes in May, up 6.5% on year, according to the latest data from the Russian Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat). On a monthly basis, production last month was also higher by 3.7% from April.
