CSSC: China's crude stainless steel output grows further in May

China's crude stainless steel output maintained the uptrend in May to reach 3.79 million tonnes, increasing by 2% from the prior month, according to the latest data released by the Stainless Steel Council of China Iron and Steel Association (CSSC).

Among the total, production of 300- and 400-series crude stainless steel grew by 6.9% and 1.3% respectively on month, offsetting an on-month fall of 6% in the output of 200-series stainless, the release showed.
