In the Indonesian domestic ore market, nickel ore prices fell by about US $5/wmt month-on-month in July, with Ni:1.6% CIF at US $70.64/wmt, flat month-on-month, and domestic premiums having approached the floor.On the NPI front, available spot resources remained tight, and holders showed strong willingness to hold firm on prices. However, influenced by steel mills' price-pressuring inquiries, fixed-price offers were largely suspended, with most traders switching to long-term contract sales. On the demand side, mainstream steel mills had entered the market with inquiries but applied notable price pressure, with their psychological purchase price of Yuan 1,120/mtu sitting at a certain discount to current market offers.
