CISA: Members' H1 crude steel output declines 3.7% YoY

Crude steel output among the member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) totaled 408 million tonnes over the first half of this year, dropping by 3.7% on year, according to the association's latest release.
The on-year drop in the cumulative output among CISA member mills narrowed by 0.7 percentage points from the level over the first five months, thanks to the relatively high production in June. Last month's output totaled 68.2 million tonnes in June alone, edging down by marginal 0.1% on year,
