CSSC: China's H1 crude stainless steel output rises 7% on year

China's crude stainless steel output totaled 21.08 million tonnes during the first half of this year, rising by 1.42 million tonnes or 7.2% from January-June last year, according to the latest data released by the Stainless Steel Council of China Iron and Steel Association (CSSC).

Among the total, production of all series of crude stainless steel increased by varying degrees, with that of 200-series posting the sharpest on-year rise in percentage terms of 9.7%, the release showed.
