Turkiye's imports of ferrous scrap in June rebound again

After the sharp drop seen in May, Turkiye's imports of ferrous scrap in June rebounded again by 7.1% on month to 1.59 million tonnes, with the volume being 31.3% higher compared with the same month last year, according to the latest data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

Over January-June, the country's ferrous scrap imports increased 3.1% on year to reach 9.67 million tonnes, the TUIK data showed.
