On August 17, Minmetals New Energy released its semi-annual report for 2026. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of Yuan 7.812 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 169.00%. The company turned losses into profits, with total profit reaching Yuan 522 million, an increase of Yuan 534 million compared with the same period of the previous year. Net profit amounted to Yuan 377 million, up by Yuan 404 million YoY; Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company stood at Yuan 377 million, an increase of Yuan 404 million. And net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was Yuan 373 million, up by Yuan 425 million YoY.
The company has been focusing on technological breakthroughs in lithium-ion battery cathode materials. In the ternary material segment, its 6-series high-voltage products saw robust shipment growth, while 9-series ultra-high energy density products achieved commercial-scale delivery. In the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) field, the company has been advancing volume production and evaluation of its power- and energy-storage-series products, and holds a leading position in high-compaction lithium iron manganese phosphate (LMFP) technology. In terms of frontier materials, NFPP has obtained certification from key customers, and the company's solid-state battery cathode materials have achieved tonne-scale shipments.
