China's exports of ternary cathode materials totaled 14,940 tonnes in July 2026, an increase of 1,000 tonnes or 7.2% month-on-month, and an increase of 4,022 tonnes or 36.8% year-on-year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC).
Of this total, exports of lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide (NCM-type) amounted to 14,862 tonnes, while exports of lithium nickel cobalt aluminium oxide (NCA-type) stood at 78 tonnes.
For the January–July 2026 period, cumulative exports of cathode materials reached 97,954 tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 61.3%.
