FLASH: Polysilicon output cuts take effect in China

Polysilicon output cuts are taking effect, with n-type dense material transacting at Yuan 43,000/tonne ($6,425/t) this week, the Silicon Industry Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association said. The price is quoted including the VAT on the association's usual basis; delivery terms were not stated. Holding this level is the key test for loss-making silicon plants.
