CISA: Members' crude steel output dips 3% YoY over Jan-Sept

Member mills of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) produced 599 million tonnes of crude steel over the first nine months of 2026, down by 3.3% on year, according to the association's latest data released on October 21.

In September, crude steel output among these mills totaled 61.68 million tonnes, dropping by 2.6% from August and by 2.1% on year, the release showed.
