Mysteel reported that China and African countries recorded 42 solar projects with 7.4GW of capacity under renewable-energy cooperation from 2023 to 2026. They formed the largest technology group within nearly 100 projects totalling 17GW across solar, hydropower and wind. Separately, completed China-Africa cooperation has built more than 1.5GW of photovoltaic stations, with related transmission lines covering more than 40 African countries. The project pipeline supports demand for Chinese modules, EPC services, storage and grid equipment, while strengthening Africa as a long-term outlet for Chinese renewable-energy supply chains.
