Longi Green Energy Technology received first-batch certification under both GB 47739-2026 for PV module safety and GB 47740-2026 for nameplate identification, the company said in an announcement reported on November 6. The standards cover electrical and mechanical safety, fire resistance, hot-spot tolerance, parameter tolerances and traceability. Longi is among the first-batch recipients of both certificates. The certification provides a firmer compliance benchmark for Chinese module exports and may raise compliance costs for smaller suppliers. Overseas buyers gain a clearer quality screen, but certification alone does not replace project-specific testing or delivery terms.
