Rio Tinto holds iron ore shipments guidance for CY 2023

Rio Tinto has set its calendar 2023 iron ore shipments guidance from Western Australia's Pilbara at 320-335 million tonnes (on 100% basis), unchanged from its target for 2022, according to the firm's latest quarterly production report released on January 17.

The world's second-largest iron ore producer noted that the shipments guidance remains subject to weather, market conditions and progressing the ramp-up of shipments from new mines and management of cultural heritage.
