MONTHLY: China's ELV recycling seen falling further in June

Steel Scrap Demand Policy Supply
The volume of metal scrap recycled from end-of-life vehicles (ELV) in China continued to decline during May and is expected to drop further this month as domestic dismantling companies slow their operations, the results of Mysteel's recent survey showed.
Last month, a total of 33,500 ELVs were scrapped and shredded by the 85 domestic automotive scrapping and dismantling firms under Mysteel's tracking, lower by 1.2% from the previous month and by 9.7% from the same month last year.   By the end of May, the total stocks of ELVs piled
