Ferrous Capacity Production
Production among China's electric-arc-furnace (EAF) steelmakers fell again during the past week with more mills reducing or suspending production, the results of Mysteel's latest survey showed.
During May 1-7, the average capacity utilization rate among the 94 independent EAF steel producers under Mysteel's tracking declined for the fourth consecutive week, dipping by another 0.5 percentage point to 60%, while their average operational rate fell 0.6 percentage point on week to 75%.     A few mini-mills in East
