WEEKLY: China's iron ore output recovers, prices firm

Production of iron ore concentrates among Chinese mining companies increased during the past week, as many miners resumed operations following maintenance stoppages, according to Mysteel's latest survey. Meanwhile, prices for domestic iron ore concentrates remained largely stable across the major producing regions over the same period, the survey findings showed.

During June 4-10, the combined daily production of iron ore concs among the 186 mining and concentrating enterprises nationwide under Mysteel's tracking averaged 460,900 tonnes/day, rising by 1.3% on week and snapping a three-week decline.
