DAILY: Seaborne iron ore index decreases slightly with the weak market sentiment

The seaborne iron ore index edged down slightly, weighed down by weak market sentiment on Friday, July 17, 2026. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines decreased $0.05/dmt to $99.30/dmt, while the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines index decreased $0.05/dmt to $105.90/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.
