MONTHLY: China's FeSi output rises by 5% MoM in July

China's total ferrosilicon (FeSi) production recovered in July after the short-lived decline in June, with the tonnage increasing by 23,324 tonnes or 4.8% on month to 506,620 tonnes, according to Mysteel's monthly survey of 136 Chinese smelters.

The sampled smelters account for about 90% of China's FeSi smelting capacity. On a daily basis, FeSi output among the sampled smelters registered 16,343 tonnes/day last month, up by 233 t/d or 1.4% from June, Mysteel's survey showed.
