Chinese ferrosilicon (FeSi) prices remained firm during the week of August 11-17, with the spot price of 75% FeSi under Mysteel's assessment reaching Yuan 5,691/tonne ($844/t) including the 13% VAT on August 17, higher by Yuan 21/t from one week earlier.
