Africa emerging as a welcome market for Chinese HRC exporters

While Asia remained China’s largest cumulative export destination for hot-rolled coils (HRC) during this year’s January-July period, the region’s position as a crucial customer for such coils is weakening as protective trade measures targeting China-origin coils begin to bite.
