Seaborne iron ore prices fluctuated narrowly on Wednesday, October 21,2026, with Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines Index rose $0.05/dmt to $90.70/dmt, while the 62% Low Alumina Fines Index up $0.05/dmt to $95.55/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.

Primary market liquidity weakened. On public platforms, one parcel of MACF with a November 21–30 laycan was traded at a fixed price of $90.20/dmt on a 60.5% Fe basis, equivalent to a discount of around $0.10 to the November index; its floating price was higher than in the previous
