Magang starts constructing a new HDG line for autosheet

Magang (Group) Holding (Magang), a subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group (Baowu) and headquartered in East China's Anhui province, officially started constructing a new hot-dip galvanizing line for automobile steel on May 31, according to the company's latest release on its official website. The primary contractor for the project is Sinosteel Engineering & Technology Co.

To have an annual production capacity of 450,000 tonnes of high-strength automotive sheet, the new galvanizing line is expected to be put into operation in December 2025, according to the release.
