Recently, it's reported that Geely's self-developed all-solid-state battery has achieved an energy density of 400 Wh/kg, and the battery cell has completed 20 AH, which may be the first to achieve release and mass production for installation.
It's noticed that China may invest about Yuan 6 billion in the research and development of all-solid-state batteries. Among the six companies that have received government basic research and development support, Geely is among them. The other five companies are CATL, BYD, FAW, SAIC, and Welion New Energy. It is understood that Geely already has a solid-state battery research and development team, and has improved its layout by investing in Welion New Energy.
