According to data from China Passenger Car Association, manufacturers with wholesale sales of over 10,000 electric vehicles in the national passenger car market accounted for 91.8% of the total monthly EV sales in January 2025. According to the preliminary summary data in February, the sales volume of these manufacturers and enterprises with a sales volume of over 10,000 EVs in January was 770,000 vehicles in February. Based on the proportion of the previous month's structure, the wholesale sales volume of new energy passenger vehicles in February reached 840,000 vehicles.
Overall, based on preliminary monthly data, it is estimated that the wholesale sales volume of new energy passenger vehicle manufacturers nationwide in February was 840,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 82% and a month-on-month decrease of 5%; From January to February, a total of 1.73 million vehicles were wholesale, an increase of 49% YoY.
