Russia's Novotroitsk Metallurgical Plant starts production of premium wear-resistant steel

Russia's Ural Steel Group has expanded its range of premium products by launching production of a new grade of steel, HardUS 400, at the Novotroitsk Metallurgical Plant in west-central Russia.

The development has unique characteristics -- a hardness of 360-430 HB and increased resistance to abrasive wear, making it an ideal material for the manufacture of critical components for mining equipment.
