Indonesia's Bumi Resources H1 coal output down 5% YoY

Indonesia's largest coal producer, PT Bumi Resources Tbk, produced 35.9 million tonnes of coal during the first half of 2025, down by 5% compared with the 37.7 million tonnes in the same period last year, according to its financial report issued on August 1.
The H1 production total appears to trail behind the company's initial target of 80 million tonnes for full-year 2025, Mysteel Global notes.   Meanwhile, Bumi's coal sales also fell 5% on year to 34.8 million tonnes during January-June, which seems below the lower end of its annual target of 76-78 million
