China's ternary cathode material imports stood at 7,576 tonnes in August, moving up 13.8% or 919 tonnes compared to the previous month, and rising 40.3% or 2,175 tonnes compared to last year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
The NCM and NCA imports amounted to 5,567 tonnes and 2,009 tonnes respectively.
The cumulative imports of ternary cathode materials from January to August stood at 44,572 tonnes, with a decline of 13.8% compared to the same period last year.
