MinRes secures additional $131 mln for nameplate performance at Onslow

Australian mining services company Mineral Resources (MinRes) has confirmed that it will receive a A$200 million ($131 million) contingent payment from Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP) in early November after hitting key operational targets at its Onslow Iron project in the Pilbara region, Western Australia, according to the company's announcement on Monday.

The payment follows MSIP's initial A$1.1 billion investment in September 2024 for a 49% stake in the Onslow Iron Road Trust, as Mysteel Global reported.
