Colombia's Sept coal exports rebound sharply MoM

Colombia, the world's sixth-largest coal exporter, recorded a strong rebound in coal exports in September, with the volume surging by 156% on month to 5.53 million tonnes, according to the latest data from the country's National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE). The figure was also 13% higher on year.

Colombia's coal exports fell sharply in August following the government's ban on coal sales to one of its key buyers, Israel, as Mysteel Global reported. September's strong performance reflected the country's efforts to diversify its coal export markets, sources said. Colombian coal suppliers managed to expand their presence in South
