China's coal imports via Ganqimaodu port exceed 31 Mt in Jan-Oct

North China's Ganqimaodu border crossing -- the country's largest coal trade corridor with Mongolia -- received 31.45 million tonnes of coal from its main supplier, Mongolia, during January-October 2025, accounting for 94% of total bulk cargoes handled at the key inland port, according to the latest data from the port authority.

The cumulative imports were 4.4% lower than the historical high of 32.91 million tonnes recorded during the same period last year, Mysteel Global calculated based on the port authority's data.
