CGA: China's gold output and consumption diverge in Jan-Sept

China’s gold market experienced a clear divergence in the first nine months of 2025, with total output rising and consumption declining, according to the latest data from the China Gold Association (CGA).
Gold production from domestically mined minerals and nonferrous by-products increased 1.39% on year to 271.8 tonnes over January-September, while output from imported minerals jumped 8.94% to 121.2 tonnes.
