CGA: China's gold output declines, demand rises in H1

China's gold production from domestically-mined minerals and non-ferrous byproducts fell 14.6% on year in the first half of 2026 to reach 152.9 tonnes, according to the latest report by the China Gold Association (CGA) published on August 6.
In addition, China's gold output from imported minerals rose 4.6% on year to 77.1 tonnes during the same period.
